The Old Town Farmers Market has been a hub of activity in the community since 1753. Farmers and artists sell their goods year-round in the Market Square in front of City Hall. According to local lore, George Washington sent his farm's produce to be sold here. For information on how to become a market vendor, visit the market's Web site.
