Red Barn Mercantile Relocating in Old Town

The shop will move into the King Street spot recently vacated by Arts Afire.

Red Barn Mercantile is moving to a new spot in Old Town and is marking down most of its merchandise before it relocates. The shop, which offers an eclectic mix of new and antique merchandise, is moving from S. Columbus Street to 1117 King St., which was recently vacated by Arts Afire. “We are really looking forward to this new opportunity,” said Red Barn owner Amy Rutherford. “King Street has always been the main artery for retail and dining in Old Town and I can’t wait to show off our one-of-a-kind merchandise to more visitors and residents of Alexandria.” Red Barn Mercantile opened its doors at 113 S.
