Cinema Del Ray starts in May. The Rosslyn Outdoor Film Festival and Clarendon Screen Outdoor Film Festival start in May and June.

Weekend Fun for the Family

Food, hiking, art, festivals—this weekend has something for everyone.

The city pools are open, Cinema Del Ray kicked off and the mosquitoes have made their triumphant return. Summer is upon us!  Whether you’re looking for a cool refuge or a fun afternoon in the sun, this weekend has a little something for everyone. Today from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., enjoy free live entertainment (including Rocknoceros), face painting, balloon animals and tons of hands-on creative activities at Imagination Bethesda. The street festival celebrates the arts and is geared toward children 12 and under. Near and dear to my heart, today is also the National Trails Day. The day is intended to encourage communities and outdoor enthusiasts to get outside and improve their favorite footpaths. In celebration, many parks are holding trail …
