He was found safe and unharmed and returned to his residence in Warwick Village around 9 a.m. — — — — The Alexandria Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating an endangered 71-year-old Warwick Village man who has been missing since 9 a.m. Tuesday. David Short, who lives in the 200 block of Guthrie Avenue, suffers from dementia and is in need of daily medication, police said. He is described as a 5-foot-10, 143-pound white male, slightly balding with gray hair. He has a thick gray mustache and blue eyes. It is unknown what he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.
