Hopkins House Receives Generous Donation

The $500,000 from the Moores of Herndon will be used to upgrade and expand facilities in Old Town and Fairfax and possibly build a new preschool in Herndon.

Hopkins House received a $500,000 donation that will be used to upgrade its preschool building in Old Town, expand enrollment at its preschool academy in Fairfax County and be used to explore the possibility of opening a new preschool in Herndon. Brenda and Mark Moore of Herndon donated the holiday gift. "This is an extraordinary gift from two extraordinarily generous and caring individuals," said Hopkins House President, J. Glenn Hopkins. "This single gift, the largest in the organization's history, will directly impact over 560 children, parents, and educators."
