Notting Hill Restaurant Aims for October Opening
Restaurant will show new decor but layout will remain largely unchanged, according to city permits.
Details on the new Notting Hill restaurant on King Street are unfolding. According to the permit application, there are no significant changes on tap for the building, which used to house French restaurant Le Gaulois at the 1106 King St. location. The hours of operation are proposed for 7 a.m. to 1 a.m. with 153 seats and 19 employees, who will have off-street parking. The restaurant has inked a deal with Southern’s Commercial Properties Division to lease 35 spots in the 1106 King St. garage for employees and patrons. A fall tasting menu shows foods such as beet salad, lobster beignets, steaks and laquered squab for dinner as well as crab quiche and sea scallops for lunch. It also will serve brunch. The restaurant aims to open in October.
