Crime Report: Breaking and Entering on North Payne

The following crimes were reported by the Alexandria Police Department to crimereports.com.

Note: The addresses listed below indicate blocks and not specific addresses of incidents. March 16 – Property damage was reported in the 200 block of North Henry Street. Additional details were not available. March 14 – Breaking and entering was reported in the 300 block of North Payne Street. The case is pending and no additional details were available. March 13 – A thief broke into a car parked in the 900 block of South Alfred Street and stole a purse containing cash, credit card and a driver’s license. It just seems to me that in the interest of public safety the APD could provide a little more information on some of the more serious types of crime. For example, the sexual offense...was there an actual rape or was someone simply touched inappropriately...it does make a difference.
