Armed Man Robs Wells Fargo Bank in Old Town Alexandria

No one was injured in the incident that occurred Saturday morning.

Alexandria police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred at the Wells Fargo Bank in Old Town Alexandria. Around 9:23 a.m. Saturday, a man wearing a mask entered the bank, which is located at 330 N. Washington St. He displayed a knife and demanded money, according to police. The teller relinquished an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect fled the bank. No one was injured. The suspect is described as a male of unknown race, approximately 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 9 inches tall with a medium build.
