Windmill Hill Park Getting a New Chain-link Fence
Construction begins Thursday and residents are urged to use caution around the playground area.
The city's Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities is replacing the black chain-link fence along the basketball court and swing set along Union Street in Windmill Hill Park, 501 S. Union St. The work is scheduled to begin Thursday and run through Sunday. The park will remain open during the replacement, but there will be construction crews and equipment in use near the playground area. Residents are encouraged to use caution. The fence will be replaced by a similar fence that is used to separate the playground area from the basketball court and street.
