Kids Take Over Gadsby's Tavern

At the special event on Sunday, there will be no charge for veterans and their families in honor of Veterans Day.

Huzzah! Kids are running the show – at Gadsby’s Tavern. Between 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, visitors touring Gadsby’s will meet 18th century characters portrayed by students. The event was planned by a team of 5th through 7th grade volunteers as part of the museum’s Kids Take Over the Museum challenge enabling students to plan and host a museum event of their choice. Additionally, in honor of Veterans Day and the American Legion Post #24 support of Gadsby’s, the students are inviting all veterans, active duty military and their families to attend at that time for free.
