Alleged Gunshot Incidents Reported in Old Town
Two separate incidents occurred Feb. 11.
Two separate incidents of possible gunshots fired in Old Town occurred Monday. At about 1:20 a.m. Feb. 11 the Alexandria Police Department received multiple calls from residents who reported hearing gunshots fired near Snowden Hallowell Way and Montgomery Street. Department spokeswoman Ashley Hildebrandt said “there is some indication there was a shooting” related to a piece of evidence found. Several residents of Old Town Commons expressed concern to Patch that the incident was somehow related to a house where illegal drugs reportedly were being sold in the neighborhood.
