10 a.m. Wednesday update — An attempted wheel theft was also reported Saturday at Francis Hammond Middle School. "We had an attempted theft of SUV wheels in the Francis Hammond Middle School parking lot behind the gymnasium," according to an email from Mac Slover of the Alexandria Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities.
