New Year's Eve Dining in Alexandria

Patch Launches West End Alexandria Site

The third Patch site covering the city of Alexandria launched Thursday afternoon.

In response to requests from residents and businesses, Patch lauched a community site for the West End of Alexandria Thursday afternoon.  West End Alexandria Patch, at westendalexandria.patch.com, is the third Patch website in the city of Alexandria, joining Del Ray Patch and Old Town Alexandria Patch.  Patch, a community-specific news, information and engagement platform, launched in Virginia in 2010 and now has 31 websites across Northern Virginia—from Leesburg to Arlington and as far south as Fredericksburg. We heard your requests for a Patch website covering the entire city of Alexandria, and we're responding! Patch plans to launch a new site for the West End of Alexandria in late September. With a thriving business community, civic association and infrastructure and business development in progress, Alexandria residents and businesses will receive more local news coverage and a platform for community information and engagement.
