Police Locate Missing Activist's Car in Prince George's County

Lenny Harris's Toyota Corolla was located on Tuesday.

The unoccupied 1994 Toyota Corolla owned by beloved community activist Lenny Harris was located around 5 a.m. on Tuesday in Prince George’s County, Md., according to police.

The investigation continues.

Detectives continue to seek help in identifying on King Street shortly after 1 a.m. on Sept. 22, the same morning as an attempt to use the card in Prince George’s County.

The person of interest on King Street appears to be a black male wearing a T-shirt and baseball hat sporting a moustache and a small goatee. He has a muscular build and tattoos on his right and left forearm. The tattoo on the inside of his forearm appears to have numbers with a word written below.

Detectives are still seeking the public’s help in that was caught on surveillance cameras during an attempted use of Harris’ credit card around midnight on Sept. 22 in Prince George's County. The vehicle appears to be a white Dodge Caravan with no front tag and more than one person inside.

Anyone with information on Lenny Harris is asked to call the Criminal Investigations Section of the Alexandria Police Department at 703-746-4711 or the non-emergency number at 703-838-4444.

A “Lenny Harris Reward Fund” has been established by private donors at Virginia Commerce Bank. Anyone wishing to contribute to the fund can go to any bank branch and make a donation. , located at 2300 Mount Vernon Avenue, is also accepting donations for the fund.
