Crime Report for Old Town Alexandria

A look at recent crime in Old Town includes a sexual offense and lots of stolen property: PlayStation, wedding ring, lawn mower and much more

The following information was provided to www.crimereports.com by the Alexandria Police Department. Additional details about the most recent crimes were not available at publication time.

May 20 – Theft of property from a vehicle was reported in the 1200 block of Braddock Place at 5:13 p.m.

May 20 – Theft of property from a vehicle was reported in the 1100 block of First Street at 12:45 p.m.

May 20 – An assault was reported in the 900 block of N. St. Asaph Street at 12:25 p.m.

May 20 – A theft was reported in the 500 block of Wythe Street at 11:59 a.m.

May 20 – A theft was reported in the 100 block of King Street at 10:48 a.m. 

May 20 – A theft was reported in the 1700 block of King Street at 12:31 a.m.

May 20 – A Playstation 3 was stolen by unknown suspects from a bedroom in a home in the 600 block of S. Alfred Street at 12:10 a.m.

May 19 – A shoplifting offense was reported in the 900 block of  N. St. Asaph Street at 10:07 a.m.

May 19 -  A wedding ring was reported stolen from a room where the ring was accidentally left in a building in the 900 block of N. Fairfax Street at 9:16 a.m.

May 19 –  The ignition of a motorcycle was damaged by an unknown suspect during an attempted theft in the 600 block of Bashford Lane at 9:11 a.m.

May 18 – A sexual offense occurred in the 1500 block of Cameron Street at 3:43 p.m. No additional information available.

May 18 – A lawnmower was stolen from a backyard in the 500 block of N. Payne Street at 1:18 p.m.

May 18 – A locked motorcycle was stolen from a residence in the 2300 block of Eisenhower Avenue at 11:42 a.m.
