Crime Report: Thefts of Property from Vehicles Continue

The following arrest information was supplied by the Alexandria Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The following information was supplied by the Alexandria Police Department to www.crimereports.com. Additional details about the most recent crimes were not available at publication time.

July 19 – A theft was reported in the 1200 block of King Street at 2:08 p.m.

July 19 – Theft of property from a vehicle at Powhatan and Second streets was reported at 1:19 p.m.

July 19 – Theft of property from a vehicle on W. Chapman Street was reported at 12:31 p.m.

July 19 – Theft of property from a vehicle in the 400 block of W. Masonic View Avenue was reported at 10:22 a.m.

July 19 – Theft of property from a vehicle on W. Masonic View Avenue was reported at 9:55 a.m.

July 18 – Theft of property from a vehicle in the 300 block of S. Washington Street was reported at 3:47 p.m.

July 18 – Unknown suspects were reported to have entered an unsecured garage, rifled through two vehicles and stole cash from one of them. The incident occurred in the 200 block of W. Walnut Avenue at 2:08 p.m.

July 18 – Theft of property from a vehicle in the 900 block of S. St. Asaph Street was reported at 10:09 a.m.

July 18 – Theft of property from a vehicle on W. Chapman Street was reported at 7:47 a.m.

July 16 – A 2009 Hyundai Accent was reported stolen in the 1200 block of Wythe Street at 9:56 p.m.

July 16 – Unknown suspect(s) entered a builing in the 1200 block of King Street at 9 a.m. by breaking a small window on the west side of the building. Nothing appears to have been stolen. (Updated from earlier report.)

July 16 – At 11:35 a.m., unknown suspect(s) were reported to have entered a secured business by unknown means in the 800 block of Slaters Lane and stole cash. (Updated from earlier report.)
